Not sure how to format a footnote for your Turabian paper? You're not the first one to ask us this question.

Formatting a footnote in MS Word is really quite simple and can save you a lot of time.

In the MS Word ribbon, click on "References"

Make sure that your cursor is at the position where you would like to footnote number to appear in the document

Click Add Footnote

Word will automatically number and renumber your footnotes as you move throughout the document.
