The library has several online resources that can help you select a topic for your paper.

Here a a few databases that we recommend for selecting a topic. All of these databases are available by going to www.etbu.edu/library, click on Electronic Resources A to Z, and then click on the letter tab that corresponds with the database title. Databases are listed in alphabetical order.

CQ Researcher: Original, comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news. Coverage is in-depth and unbiased. (TexShare Database)

CQ Global Researcher: Definitive, in-depth coverage of global affairs from a number of international viewpoints.

Credo Reference: Reference database containing full-text, aggregated content covering every major subject from the best publishers of reference.

Points of View Reference Center: "Contains a balance of materials from all viewpoints, including more than 1,300 main essays, leading political magazines from both sides of the aisle, newspapers, radio & TV news transcripts, primary source documents and reference books."

TOPICSearch: Contains full text for over 60,000 articles from 399 diverse sources including international and regional publication on a wide variety of topics appropriate.
