All of our databases are set to go through a process to off-campus or Tigernet authentication using something called Proxy. Proxy allows ETBU users to login from their computer off campus or over the campus wifi using their ETBU login credentials which is the same as your Blackboard login/password.

If you are seeing a screen that DOES NOT look like the normal solid blue proxy login screen, there is likely an error with the link that you are trying to use.

You should:

1) Contact a librarian ( immediately so that we can correct the problem for the future; and

2) Try adding the link directly in front of the link you are trying to use. This is our proxy prefix and it should force the original link to log you in through our proxy server.


3) Try our Proxy Link Creator - Copy the url from your address bar into the box on the page. Click "Create Link" and then copy and paste the created link from the bottom box into your web address box. This should force the link to go through the proxy system.
